It All Begins HereHeart Series:
Central to my work is the Hearts Series, which reflects on my own journey and that of NHS staff during and after COVID-19. Using the anatomical heart as a recurring motif, the work moves from disruption to repair and acceptance — encouraging quiet connection and thoughtful reflection. The Beating Through collection continues this exploration, responding to the lasting emotional and physical impact of COVID-19 on the body and the self. I am honoured that works from this series have been selected for exhibitions by Handmade Britain, the Royal Society of Medicine and Hampstead School of Art, alongside presentations in independent galleries such Palette and Frame and The Gallery at the Playroom.
